Data Collection & Usage Policy

What We Track on lumivalithiayxo
We use small data files that sit on your device to remember your preferences and understand how you interact with our budgeting tools. Think of them as digital bookmarks that help us serve you better when you return.
These files don't contain personal identification on their own. They work alongside our systems to create a smoother experience for managing your finances. Some stick around for a single session, others remember you between visits.
The Different Types We Use
Essential Functions
These keep the site working properly. Without them, you wouldn't be able to log in, save budget templates, or move between pages securely. They're necessary for basic operation.
Preference Memory
Remember that dark mode toggle you set? Or your preferred currency display? These files store those choices so you don't have to adjust settings every single visit.
Analytics Data
We track which features get used most often and where people get stuck. This helps us improve the budgeting tools and fix confusing workflows. It's aggregated information, not individual tracking.
Marketing Insights
These help us understand which content resonates with our Australian audience and whether our educational resources are reaching the right people. You can opt out of these anytime.
How This Improves Your Experience
When you're working on a budget spreadsheet at 11pm on a Tuesday, you probably don't want to reconfigure everything from scratch. Our tracking remembers where you left off, which categories you created, and even that custom spending alert you set up last week.
For our Australian users specifically, we store timezone preferences and display financial data in formats that make sense locally. If you're in Hobart checking your budget during lunch, the system knows not to show you alerts during your sleep hours.
- Your dashboard layout stays exactly how you arranged it
- Budget categories you created persist between sessions
- Spending patterns get analyzed to show relevant insights
- Educational content recommendations match your financial goals
- Currency and date formats align with Australian standards
About Essential Operations
Some tracking can't be disabled because it powers core functionality. Your login session, security tokens, and form submissions all require these files. If we removed them, the site simply wouldn't work. These don't track your behavior across the web or build marketing profiles.
How Long We Keep Information
Different files have different lifespans based on their purpose. Session-based ones disappear when you close your browser. Preference files might stick around for months so your settings persist. Analytics data gets aggregated and anonymized after 90 days.
Marketing trackers expire after 30 days unless you interact with them again. We regularly clean out old data to avoid accumulating unnecessary information about your browsing patterns.
Managing Your Browser Settings
Most browsers let you control tracking at a granular level. You can block everything, allow only first-party files, or set up exceptions for sites you trust. Keep in mind that blocking essential functions will break parts of the site.
- Click the three dots menu in the top right corner
- Navigate to Settings, then Privacy and Security
- Select Cookies and site data
- Choose your blocking preferences or add specific site exceptions
- Open the hamburger menu and select Settings
- Go to Privacy & Security in the left sidebar
- Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose Standard, Strict, or Custom
- Use Manage Exceptions to whitelist lumivalithiayxo.com if needed
- Go to Safari menu, then Preferences
- Click the Privacy tab at the top
- Adjust Website tracking and cross-site tracking options
- Use Manage Website Data to remove specific entries
Third-Party Services
We work with analytics providers and educational content platforms that place their own tracking files. These operate under their respective privacy policies. Google Analytics helps us understand traffic patterns. Our learning management system tracks course progress for enrolled students.
You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing their browser extension. For other third-party services, blocking marketing trackers in your browser settings usually does the job.
Changes to This Approach
As we add new features or modify existing tools, our data collection might evolve. We'll update this page whenever significant changes occur and adjust the date at the top. If you have an account with us, we'll send a notification about substantial policy updates.
We review our practices annually to make sure we're only collecting what's genuinely useful and removing anything that's become redundant. Your feedback influences these decisions, so feel free to share thoughts about privacy concerns.
